Naviance for Students - KGHS is pleased to offer Naviance Family Connection, a web-based service designed to help parents and students make decisions about colleges and careers.  Students can take personality surveys, research colleges and careers, set goals, build a resume, and more.  This service is a valuable tool to seniors applying to colleges.  They can track college applications, request teacher recommendations, and monitor transcripts sent.

KGHS uses to send electronic transcript requests for former students and current students whose college does not accept documents using Naviance.  Please create an account and request your transcripts at

Counseling Mission Statement

The mission of the King George High School Counseling Program aligns with the school vision which is: To provide a quality education, which will empower students to contribute responsibly to society as honorable, productive, and self-sufficient individuals.
School counselors, as professional school advocates, will provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program to address the academic, career, and personal/social needs of all students. The school counseling program will provide a program of support for every student and will assist the student in developing a plan for post-secondary success. Counselors will work cooperatively with administrators, staff, and family to ensure a school community that is nurturing, safe, and focused on both academic and personal achievement for every student.

Please visit the registration forms page for more information on what to bring to registration. Registration is by appointment only.

Course schedules are NOT mailed.  Students and parents are encouraged to use Parent Portal to access class schedules.  Schedules will be printed for each student the first day of school, and freshmen will receive schedules at Freshmen Transition Day.
