Each year the KGHS Anatomy and Physiology Class host Blood Drives. This year the class is sponsoring one drive in the Spring.

Spring Blood Drive: Thursday, February 14, 2019 in the high school Auditorium

Please look at the Red Cross' Website. Students will find information regarding the Red Cord of Life Program, a recognition program which we do here at King George High School for graduating seniors and possible scholarships which may be of interest to individuals who donate blood.

To receive a Red Cord from King George High School for graduation, the following criteria MUST be followed:

1. Participate in blood drive(s) at King George High School.

2. Participate in a total of 3 blood drives-one being the school drive in February and two on your own outside of the school drive, both of these need to occur after August 1, 2018 but on or before December 20, 2018 (to be eligible to give on February 14 KGHS drive).

Students will be responsible for bringing in proof of participation from the outside drive by Wednesday, April 24, 2019. This could include (but is not limited to) the paperwork received at the drive, a print out from the Red Cross Website that lists donation date, or a note from a representative of the drive. Download the Red Cross Donor App to keep track of all your blood donations.

Text BLOODAPP to 90999 or search Red Cross Blood in your App store.
