Scholarship Deadlines in November

Hagan Scholarship Foundation - Deadline: November 15, 2017
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide, need based, merit scholarship for high-achieving students who will require financial assistance in order to attend college. Eligibility requirements: Must be a citizen of the United States, must attend an eligible public high school, must be a student in the high school graduating class, must have achieved a 3.50 CGPA or higher, must score 23 or high on the ACT or 1,200 or higher on the SAT (total score). Must enroll at an eligible four-year college or university the fall semester following high school graduation. Must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each academic year of college. MUST COMPLETE THE FAFSA IN 2017. EFC MUST BE LESS THAN $6,500. Must apply for eligible Federal and State grants. Must not have been convicted of a felony. Apply online at www.hsfmo.org 

Elks National Foundation's Most Valuable Student - Deadline: November 27, 2017
The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2018 competition. Any high school senior who is a citizen of the United States is eligible to apply. Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks. College students are not eligible to apply.
Applicants must be citizens of the United States on the date their applications are signed; permanent legal resident status does not qualify. Male and female students compete separately. The 2018 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen. Action Behavior Center ABA Therapy Scholarship - Deadline: November 30, 2017 & June 30, 2018
 ABA Therapy Scholarship for undergraduate students pursuing a degree in some field relating to research on autism spectrum disorder or clinical therapy positions (psychology, applied behavior analysis, education, or a variety of natural or applied sciences) Award amount:  $1000; semi-annually. Andrew Flusche Scholarship - Deadline: November 30, 2017
The Andrew Flusche Scholarship Contest requires students to raise awareness about the importance of positive interactions with the police officers and law enforcement. Applicants must create a public service advertisement video (PSA) which portrays the correct way of interacting with a police officer during a traffic stop or any other encounter. High school seniors who have been accepted into a college, university or trade school may apply. And students who are currently enrolled in a college, university or trade school.
