Burger King Foundation - Deadline: December 15, 2017

 Have a strong academic record with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5, Be passionate about serving the community, and Be a high school senior, BURGER KING® employee, spouse/domestic partner or child of an employee.High school students should be graduating seniors with plans to attend a two- or four-year accredited university, college or vocational-technical school in the U.S., Canada or Puerto Rico.  BestGamingPC.com Scholarship Deadline: December 31, 2017

In order to participate in the scholarship contest, applicants must meet the following criteria:  Must be currently attending or planning to attend a college, university, high school or trade school during the fall 2017 academic year.  Must be in good academic standing with your current educational institution. For applicants under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.  Must apply to the contest via email and provide your full name, phone number, school name, and area of study. Must provide your written essay (in Word or PDF format preferred) by the deadline of December 31st, 2017 (we run our scholarship program every year). A winner will be chosen towards the end of January 2018 .  All essay submissions should be sent to: scholarship@bestgamingpc.com   Visit https://www.bestgamingpc.com/scholarship/  for more information.

 ^^The Fire.Org's Free Speech Essay Contest - Deadline: December 31, 2017

High school juniors and seniors for the 2017-2018 school year are eligible to participate in FIRE's essay contest. To enter, students must submit an essay between 800 and 1,000 words on the provided topic at https://www.thefire.org/student-network/essay-contest/

 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship - Deadline: January 4, 2018

Current high school seniors in the U.S. (students living on U.S. Armed Forces base and homeschooled students are eligible to apply. Must demonstrate at school, workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity and citizenship.  Virginia JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship - Deadline: January 5, 2018

Each year (April) $1,000 grants will be awarded to graduating high school seniors in the United States, who plan to continue their education at accredited post-secondary colleges, universities or vocational schools.
